Men’s Premier Soccer League Announces New Teams to Join the League in 2004

The Men’s Premier Soccer League is pleased to announce the addition of six new teams to join the MPSL for the 2004 season. The expansion of the league will include teams from Albuquerque, New Mexico; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and San Diego, Santa Rosa, Salinas and Sacramento California. The new teams will join the inaugural members of the MPSL from Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona; Chico, California; Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada; and Salt Lake City, Utah.

“We are excited about the expansion of the Men’s Premier Soccer League,” says Marketing Commissioner Ralph Hansen, “The addition of these teams add a new level of competition to the league that will benefit our existing teams and continue to improve soccer in the Western Region.”

The Men’s Premier Soccer League will be announcing the 2004 game schedule for the 12 team league in the first part of January, with games beginning in April 2004. The MPSL, whose inaugural season began in 2003, is focused on providing high level competitive soccer to amateur status players who compete on collegiate teams in the fall.

Sponsorship and marketing opportunities are still available. For more information, email the league at info@mpsl.info.
