Benjamin Ziemer is the head coach of Sol
men’s team for the 2007 season. Ziemer is the Assistant Coach of the Sonoma
State men’s soccer team, Technical Director for the Sonoma County Alliance
Soccer Club and coaches Under 14 and 18 boys teams for the Club. He also
developed and manages the NorCal Premier Soccer League.
Ziemer played youth soccer and high school soccer in Sonoma County and began his collegiate career at Fresno State and Santa Rosa JC
before playing his last two seasons at SSU. While at SSU Benjamin earned All
Conference and All Far West Honors. He also spent time in Germany
playing in the 3rd and 4th division.
Benjamin has coached boys and girls of all ages for over 20
years. He has coached for Sebastopol United, Dixie, Rohnert Park Express,
and Santa Rosa United. In 1997 he became the first Director of Coaching in
Sonoma County when he was hired by Rohnert Park Express. Benjamin has also
been a state team coach for the Olympic Development Program. Currently
Benjamin is the Technical Director for Sonoma County Alliance, SSU men's
assistant coach and President of Nor Cal Premier. Coaching Licenses held-
USSF 'A' coaching license and German 'B' license.
He has been a Hoek Method Camp coach for over 8 years. and has
directed over 150 Ziemer Brother soccer camps in Northern and Southern
California, Oregon and Nevada.
