What is the best story of the marriage proposal you have heard or witnessed?
EXAMPLE: The best suggestion that witnessed one that was made in a professional indoor soccer game. The announcer said it was time that one of theos fan contests. He asked everyone in the stadium standing. Then he asked to all persons under section 212 to stand. He then asked everyone in the row N to remain standing. Finally, said the winner of the contest was in seat number 3. The winner was instructed to look at the big screen to discover his prize and said, "Sarah, will you marry me?" After four ushers came from the top of the stairs carrying balloons and flowers. He got on one knee, and the crowd went wild. (She said yes.)
There is a story proposal, but thought who might enjoy hearing it. Its the story of how my parents met. My mother was a waitress in Minneapolis, MN and had just started his shift one morning Janruary in 1959 when my father came in and ordered a coffee to drink while reading the paper. What was expected of him, asked him if he would be interested to come out in some time. She said no, she did not go out with the guys who just met. So I asked if he could at least walk home at the end of their shift. Mom, knowing that she would not be after hours til six p.m. (eight o'clock in the morning at the time) calculated that there was no way for you to stay and walk around your house. Thus she told him that if he was there when she got off work, I could walk home. According to my mother, I read every word of that Sunday paper, two times (at least) and drank a dozen cups of coffee waiting on her to go work. When he left work and was still there, she did not believe I could do nothing, but left to walk home. After that day started out with him on his days off and got married on Valentine's Day, six weeks later. (She said her proposal by sending a note asking if she would like to be "married"). They married in court the day after receiving the note.
