High school, was voted First Team
All-Valley Oak League for 3 seasons and was also a First
Team All-District selection. As a sophomore at Sonoma State,
Amanda was an All-CCAA
selection. In her
junior year, her
24 shots were second on the team for the season. She sat
out in 2004 with
injury but returned in 2005 to her best year ever, earning All-CCAA and
NSCAA
All-Far West Region honors She was also
honored by her SSU teammates with the team LEAD US
award,
which honors the player who best exemplifies the qualities of Leadership,
Effort, Attitude,
Dedication, Unselfishness, and Skill. During 2005, Harris
was a member of the WPSL team
California Storm, which lost the WPSL National
Championship in penalty kicks to the eventual
Champions F.C. Indiana. Her favorite player is Cindy Parlow, She
enjoys hanging out with family
and friends. She likes a variety of music and her favorite food is
peanut butter. Parenats are Danny
