July 31, 2005 Final Score
after two 15 minute overtime periods: Sol 0 Detroit 1. Detroit slotted
home a shot just inside the left post in the overtime period. The goal
was scored by the leading scorer of the NPSL Midwest division, Ablaye
Camara (originally from Ghana).
Sol played a great game against Detroit but
were unlucky with their shots and Detroit played a great defensive
game. Detroit’s goalkeeper, Alex Lubyansky (from the Ukraine) was the
MVP of the match for the Arsenal.
Outstanding games were had by all Sol
players, including but not limited to goalkeeper Eric Kronberg, central
defender CJ Sigler, defenders Michael Briceno and Justin Delacruz and
Scott Preckwinkle, midfielders Andres Flores and Chris Daly, and
forwards David Briceno, Brandon Boone and Tony Bussard.

Versus Midwest Champion Detroit Arsenal, Undefeated in NPSL Play, and 1999
and 2000 USASA National Cup Champions.
